About

Built for the practices the big suites forgot.

FilingKeeper is made by a small team for small firms: the ones tracking client deadlines in a spreadsheet because the alternatives cost more and do far more than they need. It does one job — making sure no statutory filing deadline is missed — and it takes that job seriously.

Why we built it

The calm middle ground.

A UK practice with 60 clients tracks several hundred deadlines a year, spread across VAT staggers, accounting reference dates, Confirmation Statement review periods, Corporation Tax, Self Assessment and payroll. Most firms manage this with a spreadsheet, Outlook reminders, and one senior person's memory. It works — right up until the week it doesn't, and a single missed filing becomes a penalty for the client and a dent in the trust that keeps them with you.

The full practice-management suites solve this, but they are priced per user for CRM, invoicing and workflow tools that a small firm never asked for. We wanted the calm middle ground between a spreadsheet and a suite: focused, affordable, and reliable.

What we believe

Three things we won't compromise on.

Reminders, not filing.

FilingKeeper never submits to HMRC or Companies House on your behalf. Professional responsibility stays with your practice.

Hold as little data as possible.

We store names, dates and filing flags — never financial figures or HMRC credentials. Less sensitive data is less risk for everyone.

UK-first, always.

Our rules follow published UK guidance, in en-GB, priced in GBP, with data held in the UK.

Where we are

Building with the first practices.

We're early, and building in the open with the first practices to come on board. If that sounds like you, you can get in touch, read the blog, or start a free trial and see your real deadlines in minutes.
